Manuel Stüttler

Manuel Stüttler, an Austrian mycologist and entrepreneur, has been a prominent figure in the field of mushroom cultivation and research in Europe and beyond for over thirty years. His journey in the world of mushrooms began during his academic years when his fascination with fungi sparked.

This early interest led to a biology research project on mushroom cultivation, specifically higher fungi, and the establishment of a temporary test laboratory for mushroom breeding in Vienna.

In 1998, with the support of his brother, Mark a microbiologist who also specializes in mushrooms, he launched his first mushroom venture, Myco-Labs, in Vienna and is in the Scientific Committee of Mycoverse Foundation.

Driving innovation in advanced fungal biotechnology (Mushroom HyperTech) with a focus on spore propagation, micro-cultures, and data-based cultivation systems.

Key Expertise

- High-precision mycology and spore technology

- Development of intelligent fungal cultivation systems

- Spore analysis and bio-reactive optimization
